Padzilly lets you leave notes on a property. They are a good way to remember why you liked a home, and to ask your loan officer or your agent a question about it without leaving the page.
Please read the next section before you write your first note.
This is the one thing everybody needs to know, and it is easy to assume the opposite.
Notes on a property are a shared conversation. Your loan officer and your real estate agent can see them, and each note shows who wrote it and their name. They can write notes back, and you will see those too.
That is the point of the feature — it keeps the conversation attached to the house it is about, instead of scattered across text messages. But it means a note is a message to your team, not a diary entry.
So: write "can we afford this with the HOA fee?" — that is exactly what it is for. Do not write anything you would not say to your loan officer directly.
In two places, and they are the same notes:
On the property page. Scroll down and you will find a box that says Write a note.... Type and save.
In your Favorites. Each saved property has a notes button, which opens the same conversation for that home.
So a note you write on the property page shows up next to that home in your favorites list, and the other way round.
The notes work best as the questions-and-answers log for a specific house.
Ask about a cost: "The taxes look low for this area — is that right?"
Flag something in the photos: "Is that roof original?"
Record your own reaction: "Loved the kitchen, worried about the street noise."
Ask for a number: "What would the payment be if I offered 10,000 under?"
When you are comparing six houses two weeks later, these notes are the difference between remembering which one had the problem and having to drive past them all again.
You can delete your own notes. If you wrote something by mistake, remove it rather than leaving it to be misread.
