# How Does the Favorites Section Work in Padzilly?

Saving, sorting, comparing, notes, and importing from other sites.

**Favorites** is where the homes you are serious about live. It is also the screen your lender and your agent look at, which makes it the most useful page in Padzilly once you have been searching for a week.

### You need an account

Saving a home requires a Padzilly account tied to your email address. If you are browsing as a guest, Padzilly shows you what an account gets you instead:

- Save homes that match your qualify amount

- Lock your monthly payment and cash to close

- Invite your lender to upload your approval

Signing up takes a minute and the homes you save stay with you across devices.

### Two tabs

The screen has **Saved Homes** and **Saved Searches**. Homes are the properties you hearted. Searches are the criteria you told Padzilly to keep watching for you. They live together because they are the two halves of the same thing: what you liked, and what you are still looking for.

### Saving a home

Click the **heart** icon on any property — from the search results, the map, or the property page itself. That is the whole action. Click it again to remove it.

### Sorting the list

Use **Sort by** to reorder your saved homes by price, size, year built, bedrooms and the other numeric fields, ascending or descending.

This sounds minor until you have twenty favorites. Sorting by payment rather than price is usually the more honest ranking, because it puts the home with the $500 HOA fee where it actually belongs.

### Comparing them

Click **Compare**, select between two and five homes, and click Compare again for a side-by-side table of both their features and their financials. There is a separate article on this.

### Notes on each home

Every saved property has a notes button. Use it to record why you liked a home or to ask your lender a question about it.

**One important thing:** those notes are not private. Your loan officer and your agent can see them and reply. That is the point of them — but write them as messages to your team, not as a diary.

### Importing from Zillow or Realtor

Found a home somewhere else? You do not have to retype it. **Import property** opens the Padzilly browser extension flow, which is four steps:

1. Download the Padzilly browser extension

2. Log in to the extension

3. Browse listings you want to send to Padzilly

4. Send them using the extension

Imported listings show up in your Favorites like any other saved home — with Padzilly's payment and cash-needed figures calculated against your loan, which is the thing the original site could not tell you.

### Why your lender and agent care about this screen

If you have a lender linked to your account, they can open your saved properties and work on them with you. From there they can run **OfferPro** on a home — adjusting the offer price, the down payment and the seller contribution — and tell you what would actually qualify.

So your favorites are not a private wish list. They are the agenda for your next conversation. A buyer who saves six homes before calling their loan officer gets a far more useful call than one who starts from nothing.
