Found a house you want a second opinion on? You can send it to anyone, and they do not need a Padzilly account to open it.
How to share
Open the property and use Share. You get two options:
Copy link — puts the link on your clipboard, ready to paste into a text message, WhatsApp, Slack, wherever you talk to people.
Email — sends it by email.
That is the whole feature. No sign-up required on the other end.
What the other person sees
They get a clean view of the listing itself:
The photos
The price
The description of the home
The property details
They also see an invitation to create their own Padzilly account.
What they do not see is your loan. Your payment, your cash to close, your approval limits and whether the home qualifies for you are all calculated from your own profile, and a visitor does not have one. So sharing a house does not share your finances with your mother-in-law. Those numbers stay in your account.
That is worth knowing in both directions: the person you send it to is seeing the house, not your budget — so if you want them to know what it would cost you, you have to tell them.
What it is good for
A second opinion from someone who is not buying. Send three houses to a friend and the one they react to is often the one you were quietly favouring.
Family who live elsewhere. They cannot walk through it, but they can look at the same photos you are looking at while you are on the phone.
Your agent or loan officer, informally. Though if they are already linked to your account, there is a better way: favorite the home and leave a note on it. They can see your favorites and your notes, and the conversation stays attached to the house instead of scattered across text messages.
One thing to keep in mind
A shared link shows the listing as it is when the recipient opens it, not when you sent it. If the price changes or the home goes under contract in the meantime, that is what they will see.
Which is usually helpful — but it does mean the house your friend opens on Saturday may not be the house you sent on Tuesday. If you favorited it yourself, Padzilly will email you when the price or status moves, so you find out before they do.
