# How to Import Properties from Other Real Estate Platforms (B1124-019)

Send listings from Zillow or Realtor into your Favorites and get your real numbers on them.

Padzilly's coverage is growing, but it does not reach everywhere yet — and even where it does, you may find a house on another site first. You do not have to retype it. You can send it straight into Padzilly.

### Why you would do this

Because the listing is not the valuable part. **The valuable part is what Padzilly does to it.**

An imported home gets the same treatment as any other: your real monthly payment, your cash to close, and whether it qualifies against your actual loan — with taxes, insurance, mortgage insurance and the HOA fee all counted. That is the thing Zillow and Realtor cannot tell you, and it works just as well on a home that came from them.

It is also the answer when Padzilly has no coverage in your area. You lose the search; you keep the maths.

### What you need

-   An **active Padzilly account** linked to your email
    
-   A **desktop or laptop computer** — this is not available on phones
    
-   A compatible browser: **Chrome, Edge, Brave or Opera**

### How to do it

Log in to Padzilly, go to **Favorites** and click **Import property**. A panel opens with four steps:

**1\. Download the Padzilly browser extension.** The link is right there.

**2\. Log in to the extension.** Same Padzilly account you already use.

**3\. Browse listings you want to send to Padzilly.** Go to Realtor.com, Zillow or wherever, and find homes as you normally would.

**4\. Send them using the extension.** One click per house.

### Where they end up

In your **Favorites**, alongside every home you saved from Padzilly itself. There is no separate "imported" list to manage.

From there they behave like any other favorite. You can:

-   See the payment and cash needed, measured against your loan
    
-   Run **OfferPro** on them to structure an offer
    
-   **Compare** them side by side with homes that came from Padzilly
    
-   Leave notes for your loan officer and your agent
    
-   Have Padzilly watch them for price and status changes

### One honest limitation

An imported listing carries the data the other site had. If that site was missing the HOA fee or the tax figure, Padzilly cannot invent it — you will see the same **$0** notes you would on any listing with a gap, and the same advice applies: call the listing agent or check the county appraiser, then type the real number into OfferPro.

### A practical habit

Import in batches. If you have been browsing another site for a week with ten tabs open, send all ten across in one sitting, then open Padzilly and sort your favorites by payment. You will usually find that two or three of the ten were never realistic — and you will have found that out in five minutes instead of five viewings.
